In 2007, building on its revolutionary position as the first to incorporate TrueSteam™ Technology in major appliances such as washing machines, LG Electronics introduced an innovative, next-generation dishwasher with energy-saving, performance-enhancing steam.

TrueSteam™ Technology

LG's SteamDishwashers™ (LDF7932ST and LDF9932ST) series features a sleek and intelligent design with a hidden, fully integrated LCD touch control panels for an ultra-premium look. For added versatility, the LDF9932ST SteamDishwasher™ also features a 3rd rack, and can accommodate up to 16 place settings in a single load. At only 45 and 50 decibels, these SteamDishwashers™ are some of the quietest in the industry with a built-in food-disposer. The "SteamDelicate" cycle gently cleans delicate items such as champagne glasses and china, during the wash process.

SignaLight™ LED Process Indicator

LG's premium dishwashers boast an advanced SignaLight™ LED lights to alert users of cycle status on the outside door, while soft-touch controls with LED and LCD displays are hidden on top for a polished, clean look. It also incorporates a smooth gliding upper-rack for ease of use and increased convenience.

Other Innovations

LG's core dishwasher line-up also includes semi-integrated models that feature SignaLight™ LED process indicators and sleek controls on the door's exterior, as well as fully integrated versions, which have the SignaLight™ displays on the outside and controls hidden on top.

As with all LG appliances, the company's dishwasher line is energy-efficient, low in water consumption, and quiet in operation. All models include a built-in food-disposer with a self-cleaning filter to easily eliminate food debris as well as high-performance features such as the SenseClean™ washing system. The SenseClean™ wash system uses turbidity sensors to determine soil levels within the load, and adjust the wash process accordingly to most optimally clean the load. The SenseClean™ wash system helps take the guesswork out of obtaining the perfect wash.

Further, the Half-Load wash cycle allows for washing exclusively in either the upper- or lower-deck, to conserve water and electricity. The Design-A-Rack™ system allows for maximum loading flexibility featuring removable, folding, and adjustable tines. In addition, the upper racks are easily adjusted for maximum capacity.

Other Noteworthy Features Include:

Removable, fold-down tines instantly make room for larger items.
Adjustable upper rack allows cleaning of up to 12" plates.
Three separate cutlery baskets, which can be snapped together or separated for placement in either the upper- or lower-racks.
Three water-spray settings(strong, medium, and soft) and three spray arms in each LG Dishwasher for various types of washing.
Slim Direct Motor™ - a highly efficient washing while aiding to reduces noise and load more dishes.
Stemware holder to secure wine glasses, goblets, and champagne flutes can also act as a double-decker rack for storage of smaller cups.
