(If the model name is BD360-N Then you have to change the file name to "LG_BD_360M.ROM" and you can check the model name in the system information)
2. Insert the CD or USB which you make.
3. Then "Update" Pop-UP will be shown. Please select the "OK"?at
this menu.
4. Then the update is progressing.
5. Wait about 1 minute. Then it will finish the update and power off automatically. 

*Important notice
If the current version is V3.886.00(Please refer below picture) Then you must update the V3.886.01(Special F/W) first before you update to this version

Why is the picture quality of my DVD/HDD so poor while showing self recorded material?

The quality of self recorded material is not a function of the DVD player but of the recording equipment settings. The appropriate quality should be chosen required while recording.

he DVD/HDD recorder does not appear on the screen of the TV when using the RF (antenna) cable is this correct?

Most LG video recorders do not have an RF connection and can only be connected to the TV using a SCART cable.

Remote Control does not work. What to do?

1. If do you use a all-in-one (TV / DVD / Hometheatre) remote control. Please remember to push the TV select button to operate the TV.

2. Remote control signal range is around 6m. If remote control is too far from the TV or out of 45 degree range, or there is an obstacle, it may be not work.

3. Change the batteries.

4. Take the batteries out and clean the terminals contacts with a damp towel and baking soda.

Is it possible to copy the files from HDD to DVD with higher speed?

Yes, it is possible but only if the file recorded on HDD was not edited. If it was edited - you can copy it only with real speed.

How can I copy from HDD to DVD?

Go to HDD menu. Go to list, select the archive you want to copy. Click enter. On the left side of the screen you will see a new menu. select dubbing. then insert a blank DVD and follow instructions.

Why does my recorder stop in the middle of the burning process?

This is probably is a disk defect.Try to start the burn process with another DVD. If it still does not work, contact our customer service

Is there the posibility to perform time recording on the hard disc while watching a DVD?

This is not possible because when you want to use the time recording function the device has to be in the standby mode.

Cannot burn DVD, it says "change the recordable disc" when I put a blank disc

LG DVD recorders can read all types of DVD, but can only burn a specific type of disc DVD -R / +R .Please check on your owners manual which type of disc is recommended for your model.

Can I delete titles from DVD RWs and reuse the space?

This varies per model and per type of disc. On +RW you can not re-use the space (only after fully formatting the disc). On other models you can only re-use the space if you delete the last title recorded.

When I set multiple timer records only the first one works. What to do?

Check if PDC option is switched off for the second program. This might cause a problem when there is no PDC signal transmitted by the broadcaster.

When I try to finalize the disc, the option is unavailable?

The disc is probably already finalized. DVD+RW discs are automatically finalized when you eject them from the recorder. Therefore you cannot finalize it in the menu. The finalize-option in the menu is only for -R and RW discs.

Can music CD be copied to a hard disk? The option of editing or dubbing does not appear

It is NOT possible to copy an audio CD to the HDD. The only music that can be dubbed to HDD is MP3 encoded music. This unit will not encode "normal" audio into MP3, and it cannot be used to make copies of audio CDs.

After connecting my DVD player / DVD recorder / Home Cinema set, the colour of the picture is not right.

Please check what cable you used to connect. On the back of the unit you may find a selection switch. Select component if you used component cable or select RGB if you used SCART

The unit may be in progressive scan mode.  Press and hold the stop button for 10 seconds to restore normal mode.

The device does not read any disc that is inserted into the drive, it just shows a CD spinning on the screen.

1.Try using a different CD or DVD

2. Unplug the device and restart it.

How can I copy Dual Layer DVD’s with my writer?

If you have a dual recordable DVD, you can copy the original as is. If you have a normal DVD or CD, you first have to decrease the size of the original. Most modern copy programms can do this for you
