Environmental Self-Declaration
Many of LG Electronics' products now come complete with an eco-declaration-a label containing all of the product's relevant environmental information, including its weight, energy consumption, packaging materials, recyclability, and customer precautions. LG adopted this eco-declaration system in a bid to actively promote eco-products
Eco-label
The company has also developed its own eco-label, and established its own strict environmental standards, which reflect customers' demands for the company to become more environmentally aware. All products that have met the required criteria acquire a label of their own to prove that they are indeed eco-products.
Customers can easily identify eco-products with LG's eco-label. And, as part of its commitment to environmental improvement efforts, we will be increasing the number of label-boasting products steadily in the months and years to come.
Environmental Labeling and Lifecycle assessment
In addition, LG operates in accordance with the Environmental Labeling and Lifecycle assessment scheme. This means we must quantify all resources used during a product's lifecycle, and monitor any and all of its by-products-ultimately compiling a comprehensive assessment of its complete environmental impact.
