Smart Energy Saving Super

LG's 2009 range of flat panel televisions incorporates Smart Energy Saving technology. These functions, if chosen, allow users to minimise power consumption compared to normal operating options. The backlight control function controls the brightness of the TV allowing adjustment for brightness better suited for the viewing environment. The screen off function lets you switch off the screen while keeping the sound or music alive. Extra energy saving can be made with the use of Mechanical OFF switch which reduces power consumption to almost zero watts. Added to these functions is the most Saving Module which maintains adequate brightness while using minimal power.

Full HD 1080p Resolution

Able to display 1080p pictures, like those found on Blu-ray disc. 1080p means 1,080 horizontal lines are used to create your TV picture.

AV Mode

LG TVs have 3 special preset AV Modes which provide the best suitable image quality and sound for specific types of content. They are easily accessible using the AV MODE hot key on the remote control.

Invisible Speaker

Wide Sweet Spot. The front bezel works as a speaker, replacing the normal speaker grill. With the Invisible Speaker system, the speakers are embedded in strategic spots underneath and around the front bezel. They enhance the audio by increasing the ‘sweet spot’ to give a wider and richer sound field. This new speaker system provides a clean and fashionable design compared with traditional side or bottom speaker designs.

Swivel Stand

Swivel stand allows you to position the set easily in the preferred direcition.
