About LG
EuropeThe month of August 2005 saw the implementation of the WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) directive, which obliges each member nation of the EU to take back and process waste electronic goods. Subsequently, each member country operates a take-back and recycling system.
LG Electronics has fulfilled the regulatory demands in all EU countries, including countries like the Netherlands, Belgium, and Sweden, which already had take-back regulations of their own prior to August 2005. The following are recycling firms to which LG Electronics has subscribed:| Country | LGE sales subsidiary |
