- Many LG products use the eco-design: washers, TVs, notebooks, and phones. LG's products are resource and energy efficient, generating less waste.

- Hazardous Substance
- Since 2005, LG's products have not contained any of the six hazardous substances specified by the EU. LG adheres to strict regulations regarding the management of hazardous substances in its production processes.

- LG Electronics has established several basic take-back facilities, allowing consumers to return end-of-life products. LG also factored in economic and environmental feasibility during design. Recycling products conserves natural resources, and protects the environment.

- LG works hard tackling climate change and reducing greenhouse gases emitted from its production facilities. The company's ongoing inventory process will reduce emissions from its products by continually monitoring statistics. It also plans to eliminate waste by increasing energy-efficiency and using new technology, designed to work with renewable energy.

- LG developed the Green Program to ensure that its partner companies also comply with national and international regulations. LG (and its supply chain) must not use any hazardous substances, therefore minimizing the environmental impact.

- LG's stabilization policy encourages sustainable development and eco-production. The environmental achievement evaluation system will improve energy, environment, safety, and health. In an emergency situation, LG aims to respond efficiently and positively.

- LG Electronics has developed an eco-label, the company's own environmental certification label, and is now actively making use of this government-run environmental labeling system. The purpose of obtaining eco-labels is to mark our products as either environmentally-friendly or energy-saving products in order to ensure that customers are positively aware of the aspect of environmental safety in LG products.
