Contributions from Every Company Member

From the CEO to the staff, all members of LG Electronics have been participating in the development of social contribution funds. In particular, the company's 'Matching Grant' program stipulates that the company must match any donation made by an employee, like for like. In doing so, the company embodies a spirit of social contribution, which is shared by every member of the company.

Free Medical Treatment Services

LG Electronics offers free medical treatment to many people, who are physically challenged or to children, inflicted with various diseases, in regions devoid of proper medical facilities. In Pakistan, Egypt, Morocco, and Kenya, LG Electronics provided funding for operations on children with hereditary cleft lip and palate. In Nigeria, LG Electronics funding enables medical operations to go ahead for people that have lost their arms/legs due to a car accident, war, or terrorist attack and who require artificial limbs.

In addition, LG Electronics funded medical operations for visually-impaired children in Pakistan, Egypt, and Kenya. The company also gave their support to leukemia patients in Kazakhstan and sponsored the anti-cancer campaign in France. LG Electronics continues its campaign to donate used computers in a bid to help underprivileged children get up to speed with modern-day information and technology.

The "Usuri" Fund

All LG employees are involved in developing social contribution funds. The money from the Usuri Fund helps children and neighbors in need. Such funds are representative of the social contribution that the company and each and every employee proudly makes.

Free Medical Operation Services for Cleft Lip and Palate

LG finances operations for deprived children, those suffering from cleft lip and palate and those living in regions where medical care is sparse. Along with the Korean Medical Association, LG is a joint sponsor of free medical care.  Read more

Sponsorship of the Anti-Cancer Campaign in France

LG was an official sponsor of the "anti-cancer campaign," which was facilitated by the French anti-cancer association known as "Association pour la Vie et l'Espoir contre le Cancer." During the campaign held at Versailles, LG helped to raise awareness of cancer and convey the message of hope.  Read more
