company’s LG-KU250 handset, a sleek and slim 3G mobile phone,
was selected in 2007 for the GSM Association’s “3G for All”
campaign by a consortium of the twelve largest mobile operators.
To enhance profitability, LG will achieve operational excellence
by focusing on a global platform strategy, which is an effective
way to maximize profits with fewer models. The company’s 2007
shipment goal is 78 million units, which is a 21 percent increase
from 2006.
